The Wakefield Lynnfield Masonic Building Association (WLMBA) continues to work to improve our lodge with a number of projects. Earlier this year they replaced the dishwasher in the kitchen which was original to the 1960's when the building was put up. In addition, major work ws done to repair and improve the heating system in the building. This summer their work continued with a long overdue painting of the building and also securing a donated altar which has been refurbished and brought into service for the 2010-11 Masonic year. This builds on e work from last year when the foyer area was completely redone, a new backdoor was installed along with a nice blue awning above it. Kudos to the WLMBA along with Golden Rule and Lynnfield-Zetland Lodges who have underwritten a large portion of the repairs. It is nice to see our home getting these long needed improvements. |
