 Scott T. Jareo Golden Rule Lodge is pleased to announce that Scott Thomas Jareo has been appointed the new District Deputy Grand Master (DDGM) for the 13th Masonic District, succeeding Richard Maggio. Scott is a Past Master of GRL, served as a District Officer under Richard Maggio, is a member of the Grand Lodge Membership Development Committee and served as the Grand Lodge Standard Bearer for 2011. Scott is the 9th Member of Golden Rule Lodge to be honored to serve Grand Lodge as a DDGM. Scott's first fraternal visit to GRL will be on Thursday, January 12, 2012. In addition, GRL affiliate Past Master, Amos "Ace" Cutter has been appointed as the DDGM for the 4th Masonic District out of William Sutton Lodge in Saugus and his first fraternal visit will be a week later on January 19, 2012 in Saugus. All of us at GRL are quite proud of both Scott and Ace and wish them both the best of luck. |

 L to R Dick Gesualdo and Jim Holmes At the December Quarterly Communication of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, elections for several leadership positions were held.
Most Worshipful Richard J. Stewart, Grand Master, was elected for a second year. The Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts traditionally serves three one-year terms. He was unopposed.
The most anticipated voting of the afternoon were the elections of the Senior Grand Warden and the Junior Grand Warden.
R.W. Richard A. Gesualdo (North Reading Lodge, North Reading; Grand Lecturer) was elected Senior Grand Warden. It is the second highest elected position in Grand Lodge. R.W. James A. Gilrein (Mt. Horeb Lodge, Dennis; Past District Deputy Grand Master) was also a candidate.
R.W. James C. Holmes (St. George Lodge, Brockton; Past District Deputy Grand Master) was elected Junior Grand Warden. It is the third highest elected position in the state. R.W. Herbert W. Mower (Somerville Lodge, Somerville; Past District Deputy Grand Master) also ran for office. |
